About
A practice for the awkward middle of fitness sensor design
Between raw wearable streams and polished marketing screens sits the moment an athlete decides whether a prompt is useful. That moment is our subject.
Origin
Sensor Vertex Core began in Selangor after years of watching fitness products ship beautiful charts that athletes ignored mid-workout. Founders with product research and coaching-editorial backgrounds joined to review interaction quality on sensor surfaces — heart-rate banners, GPS summaries, cadence bands, recovery badges — rather than treating engagement as a single app-open metric.
How we work
We prefer live or recorded workout contexts over desk-only click-throughs. A humid outdoor run, a noisy gym floor, or an instructor-led indoor ride changes what people can read. Findings stay concrete: which prompt fired too early, which summary asked for a share before splits were scanned, which recovery line contradicted a planned hard day.
People
Engagements are led by a senior interaction analyst paired, when copy is in scope, with a fitness-domain reviewer. We keep the team small so reports stay specific to your flows instead of recycling a template deck.
Values
- Respect athlete attention during effort — interrupts must earn their place.
- Separate observation from prescription in coaching language.
- Prefer ranked, actionable briefs over vanity scores.
- Acknowledge Malaysian training conditions when GPS and heat matter.
Community
We collaborate with product squads, coaching editors, and studio operators across Malaysia and neighbouring markets. Office hours and in-person working sessions are available from our Klang address when that helps a release review.
